Habiro Agricultural Park Mihamashi Farm in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture, is a hands-on agricultural park where you can enjoy harvesting vegetables and fruits, a park with playground equipment, feeding an ostrich, barbecue and hot spring facilities. This time, we will introduce you to a ministry where you can make and eat tofu, apple pie and various other handmade food at this agricultural park.

The open-kitchen style buffet restaurant “Tree of Tomato” is located at the Habiro Agricultural Park Miharashi Farm. There are more than 30 dishes for everyone from children to the elderly to enjoy, including salads, pasta, pizza, meat and fish dishes! All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink desserts and soft drinks are also available! The restaurant offers a panoramic view of the Ina Valley. Currently not open for tea and dinner.

The Tree of Tomato is also a great place to enjoy a casual BBQ with family and friends while admiring the spectacular location. There is also a ‘no-hassle’ plan where you can leave the fire-making and clean-up to our staff. Enjoy an easy barbecue in a location rich in nature.
Habiro Agricultural Park, Miharashi Farm is famous for its handmade experiences. You will be surprised at the variety of the handmade experience, which is divided into three courses: a 30-minute course, a one-hour course and a two-hour course. You can choose from a 30-minute course, a one-hour course or a two-hour course.
The most popular handmade experience is the apple pie making experience, where you use apple filling and sandwich it in the dough. Freshly made apple pie is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! The freshly made apple pie is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! Even small children can make it if they are accompanied by an adult, so please give it a try.
Gohei-mochi, a local dish of Minami Shinshu, can be experienced in a one-hour course. Cooked rice is crushed into a spectacle shape and skewered. The rice is then dipped in a rich sweet and spicy sauce, grilled on a hot plate or griddle, and then coated with miso sauce. Gohei-mochi is the most delicious rice cake you can make by yourself.
The mothers at the rice processing plant will give you detailed instructions so that anyone can make them easily. Let’s make seasonal fruit wrappings for the ministry.
Wrap strawberries from Jan to late May, blueberries from July to mid-August and grapes from mid-September to mid-October!

You can also experience making tofu in a 2-hour handmade experience course. You can make 1 tofu (approx. 15 cm square, 2-4 servings) using a pot, mixer and other methods!
At Habiro Agricultural Park Miharashi Farm, you can experience things you’ve never experienced before, such as mountain bike riding and making shime-kazari (decorations for the New Year), with the help of a variety of people. You can also experience things you wouldn’t normally do with the help of various people. When you’re done playing, you’ll have grown up a size or two.
