Sakuma Dam was constructed as an agricultural dam in Kyonan-cho, Awa-gun, Chiba Prefecture. Around the dam, a monument plaza, rock garden, jabu-jabu pond, eight bridges, and a viewing area have been developed, and the park can be enjoyed by taking a walk.

A campground is open from May to November, and daffodils and plum trees can be enjoyed in winter.

From the observation plaza, visitors can enjoy a wonderful view of Sakuma Dam and the surrounding mountains. The walking trail is known as a cherry blossom viewing spot with approximately 2,200 cherry trees in bloom, including double-flowered cherry trees.
