Sakura Mushroom Garden started in 1994 in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture. Since its opening, the garden has been cultivating shiitake mushrooms completely pesticide-free, offering delicious and time-consuming mushrooms at reasonable prices. The mushrooms are cultivated without using any pesticides, using only delicious natural water. Whenever pests or molds appear, they are removed by hand, and in fact, the employees were checking each mushroom first thing in the morning when we visited.

The shiitake mushroom ministry is recommended at Sakura Mushroom Garden, and shiitake mushrooms are known for being rich in nutrients and good for the body, especially vitamin B group and vitamin D. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium. It is also said that eating 9 grams of dried shiitake mushrooms every day can lower cholesterol levels.
At Sakura Mushroom Garden, you can grill and eat the fresh mushrooms you have picked on the spot. In addition to the mushrooms picked at the mushroom farm, there is also a wide selection of meat and vegetables produced in Chiba Prefecture!

The greenhouses are filled with mushrooms, neatly displayed at equal intervals, and you can enjoy picking mushrooms as much as you like as you are guided to the best places to pick them. You may want to bring a backpack or empty hands since you will be supporting the mushrooms with one hand while harvesting them with scissors.
Sakura Mushroom Garden offers mushroom picking all year round, but the varieties of mushrooms other than shiitake mushrooms, which can be harvested all year round, vary depending on the season. Currently, there are four varieties of mushrooms available, so please enjoy the taste of the season each time you visit.

Sorry Japanese only. It means any time in a year you can enjoy Shiitake-Gari.
Shiitake mushrooms can grow to a size where they can be harvested in a few days, and their vitality is amazing. The forecast is distributed daily from the Sakura Mushroom Garden.
