Anime Tokyo Station opened in October 2023 in Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, as a center for Japanese anime culture. Highlights include exhibitions introducing Japanese animation and a series of animation production processes.

Anime Tokyo Station is located about a 4-minute walk from the east exit of Ikebukuro Station. It is a good landmark because you can see the train carriages through the glass from outside, and the floors are from the basement to the 2nd floor, and each floor seems to have its own concept.

When I visited the museum on this day, there was a special exhibition of “Naruto”, and I was impressed by the displays and presentations, which are unforgettable for anime lovers.

In the basement, visitors can actually see the original drawings and films that were actually used in the production process of animation. It is amazing to see how many processes are involved in the animation we see in everyday life.

The first floor entrance includes a giant object, which is also a must for anime lovers, and you can go back and look at old anime and manga, so it will be fun for all generations♪
