
Akita Furusato Mura is a theme park complex in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture, that showcases the attractions of Akita Prefecture. Akita Furusato Mura, a lush green area the size of four Tokyo Domes, is home to a diverse collection of facilities, including Spacia, a starry sky exploration center with one of the largest planetariums in the Tohoku region, Wonder Castle full of trick art and play equipment, a crafts exhibition center featuring Akita crafts and the Akita Museum of Modern Art. It is also ideal for parent-child excursions and leisure activities for children’s groups.

In the Furusato Ryokan, where you can enjoy local cuisine, you will find Sato Yosuke, an Inaniwa udon speciality restaurant that has been in business for 160 years. Please enjoy the safe, secure and hearty menu that makes use of local ingredients.

The snack corner also includes Ideha-ya, which has won the Yokote Yakisoba Four-Star Championship, Hinai Dream, a Hinai Jidori ramen shop, and 55 Curry.

Yokote yakisoba uses thick, straight boiled noodles made locally and the ingredients are generally cabbage and minced pork. A semi-cooked fried egg on top of the noodles and a side of fukujinzuke (pickles) are standard.
Sato Yosuke, an Inaniwa udon speciality shop that has been in business for 160 years.

Inaniwa udon, made from wheat flour, salt and starch for the batter, has a long history and has been presented to feudal lords since the Edo period. It is said that it was not eaten by the general public until 1972, when Yosuke Sato disclosed the production techniques and flour blending to non-residents of the household.
