Utsunomiya Zoo is conveniently located 5 minutes from the Utsunomiya I.C. and is open year-round.
Utsunomiya Zoo has a “Nakayoshi (firendship) Land” where you can interact with animals. Let’s have fun playing with cute animals! Sheep and ponies will welcome you…and you can even ride a pony at the horseback riding corner! Let’s go around Nakayoshi Land with a horse!

As a theme park for “nature, animals, and children,” the biggest attraction is that you can get up close and personal with the animals ! There is a spacious lunch plaza, an amusement park, and a swimming pool in summer, so there is plenty to do after the zoo.
Utsunomiya Zoo has more than just animals. There is also an amusement park area at the back of the zoo, complete with a carousel, go-carts, a Ferris wheel, and even a roller coaster.
