Municipal Ichihara Quard Forest is designated as a “living environment conservation forest” among urban forests that provide a place for health and recreation. Located in the center of Chiba Prefecture, Ichihara Quad’s Forest is easily accessible from the city center and can be easily visited in about 1 hour by car. The winter illumination, which is handmade by the staff, is highly recommended because you can see a different side of Ichihara Quad’s Forest from the daytime scenery, and the illumination itself is of high quality.
There are no parking or admission fees for this illumination.
Located in a mountainous area rich in nature, there are walking trails, a botanical garden, and a campground. At the store, “baked sweet potato,” “pork miso soup,” and “amazake” are available only during the illumination period.
The red color combined with the autumn leaves makes the illumination stand out and is beautiful.
