Even the food feels like a safari!? The renewed Savannah Menu at Gunma Safari Park is amazing!

Safari parks offer visitors the chance to see animals up close and personal by touring the zoo by car, bus, or other means. At Gunma Safari Park in Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture, we would like to introduce “Restaurant Savannah,” where you can enjoy the safari atmosphere even when eating.

Restaurant Savanna is located in front of the park entrance gate and the information center, and is marked by a glass-walled building with a yellow sign. Restaurant Savannah offers a wide variety of special dishes that can only be found here!

Inside the restaurant, there are 120 spacious family seats where you can enjoy a relaxing meal, and you can also enjoy a barbecue on the terrace! One of the most popular items on the menu is the “Jyoshu Wagyu Burger” made with local Jyoshu beef. Jyoshu Wagyu is a brand of Gunma Prefecture’s beef, which is named after Wagyu cattle raised in Gunma Prefecture that meet certain standards. This is a rare menu item that is not usually available, so please take this opportunity to try it♪.

The Hondo Gitsune Udon is made with large pieces of fried bean curd in a broth that soaks into the body. The simple ingredients and seasoning make it suitable for small children.

Savannah Curry is a collaborative menu item until February 2024. It is a colorful rice curry with large pieces of meat and vegetables on top. This rich and flavorful rice curry is a favorite of both children and adults.

Gunma Safari Park offers many attractive contents such as collaboration events with popular animations, a petting park, and an original four-frame manga. Please visit the Gunma Safari Park to observe and interact with the animals up close.
