Gourmet food using local brand meat is also available at Moomin Valley Park!

There are many restaurants in Moomin Valley Park that offer exquisite gourmet food made with the finest ingredients. Among them, we would like to introduce a restaurant called “Lettura Lounge” because its quality is amazing. Located in the cove area at the beginning of Moomin Valley Park, Lettura Lounge is on the left as soon as you enter Moomin Valley Park. You can spend your leisurely time looking out over the natural beauty of Lake Miyazawa.

The interior of the store is a very comfortable and relaxing space with glass walls and sunlight streaming in. The walls and floor are made of wood, and when you look at the restaurant from the outside, you will feel as if you are in a large tree, creating a mysterious space.

The gourmet food available at Lettura Lounge includes pasta, pancakes, roasted chicken, and other tempting dishes. Among them, we recommend the cute-looking pancakes and the Bolognese made with Saibok golden pork.

The bolognese is made with ground pork from Saiboku’s Golden Pork, a rare part of Saitama brand pork. The meat is processed in a large size, and the sweetness of vegetables such as carrots and onions, combined with the richness of cheese, gives the dish a refined taste. The pasta is thin and easy for even small children to eat.

The name of the restaurant, “Lettu,” means pancake in Finnish, and it is a standard food in Finland that can be made as thin as a crepe or as thick as a pancake, which is familiar in Japan.

The pancakes change according to the season and events. When we visited this time, the pancakes were made with chestnuts as a fall season delicacy. Chestnuts were also used in the cream and went well with the sauce and berries surrounding the plate. The pancakes are firm and elastic, so they are very satisfying.

The pancakes change with the seasons, spring, summer, fall, and winter, so you can look forward to the next season.
